Candidate forums are a great way to meet your local candidates, hear what they have to say on the issues, and ask questions! Join us to learn more about your candidates for State Senate District 6.

Featuring candidates Jonathan Goble (D) and Marianne Moore (R), moderated by Chris Crockett, publisher of the Ellsworth American and the Mount Desert Islander.

Senate District 6 includes all of Washington County and the following towns in Hancock County: Amherst, Aurora, Central Hancock UT, East Hancock UT, Eastbrook, Franklin, Gouldsboro, Great Pond, Hancock, Mariaville, Northwest Hancock UT, Osborn, Sorrento, Sullivan, Waltham, and Winter Harbor.

The forum  will be held via Zoom webinar and will also livestream on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LWVME. The Zoom audience will have the opportunity to submit their own questions using the Zoom Q&A feature, and the moderator will present the questions. Register below to join the Zoom.

The forum is organized by the League of Women Voters - Downeast. Co-sponsors include the Ellsworth American, the Mount Desert Islander, the Penobscot Bay Press, the YWCA of MDI, and JustME for JustUS.
